From Here Forward
When a profound loss occurs, life can stop making sense. You may feel disconnected, uncertain about your future, and barely recognise yourself anymore. Together, we can find a way forward that feels meaningful again.
You are not alone
After a significant loss, life often no longer makes sense in the way it once did.
If any of this feels familiar, you don't need to carry it alone.
A different kind of support
When grief changes every part of life, it can leave you feeling lost, overwhelmed and unsure of who you are now.
You don't need to have the right words, or know where to begin. We start where you are.
Make sense of difficult thoughts and feelings.
Explore how loss has changed your life and your sense of yourself.
Move forward while keeping the connection with your loved one.
Find ways to cope with the challenges you are facing day to day.
Rebuild confidence and trust in yourself.
Take small, manageable steps towards a life that feels meaningful again.
A little about me
I live in West Yorkshire and I'm a mum and grandmother. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, getting outdoors and making the most of the everyday things in life.
"My life has been shaped by profound loss. I know what it is like to wonder if what you are feeling is normal — or whether you will ever feel like yourself again."
My understanding of grief comes from both personal and professional experience. My own life has been shaped by significant loss, and I know how difficult it can be to imagine a meaningful future when life has changed so completely.
I also have many years of experience supporting people living with grief and loss, including supporting others in bereavement work. My background in education gave me further experience of helping children, families and colleagues through some of life's most difficult challenges.
Your loss and your experience are unique to you. My role isn't to tell you how to grieve, but to help you make sense of what has happened, find ways to manage the challenges you are facing and, in your own time, begin to find your way forward.
Although grief changes us, it does not mean hope is lost.
Practical details
I offer individual 60-minute sessions on Zoom, giving you time and space to talk openly about your loss and what life looks like for you now.
Sessions are £55. Before deciding, we can have a free 20-minute introductory conversation to talk about what you're looking for and whether I might be the right person to support you.
Whenever you're ready
Whether your loss is recent or happened many years ago, you are welcome to contact me for a free 20-minute introductory conversation — by phone or Zoom.
